This is the genuine U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Padded Sub Belt, a critical component of the FILBE (Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment) designed to serve as a "War Belt" or "Battle Belt" for Marines. Its primary function is to redistribute the weight of mission-essential equipment—such as ammunition pouches, IFAKs, utility bags, and communications gear—from a traditional pack or armor vest to the user's hips, significantly reducing fatigue. The system is constructed of heavy-duty Coyote brown Mil-Spec nylon, offering exceptional durability and complete compatibility with MOLLE/PALS modular attachment pouches.

• Modular Padded Belt: The Sub Belt features a thick, internal padding and a semi-rigid structure to prevent sagging, ensuring comfort during extended use. It includes three rows of MOLLE/PALS webbing around its exterior for customizable pouch attachment.
• Integrated Suspension: The system is intended to hook up to detachable suspenders (often an X or Y-style harness) that securely attach to the belt's mounting points. These suspenders shift the vertical load to the shoulders, preventing the belt from slipping or twisting.
