This belt is the final piece of the "Suspension Trinity" (Frame, Straps, and Belt) and is arguably the most important for long-distance comfort. By transferring up to 80% of the pack's weight from your shoulders to your hips, this belt prevents fatigue and allows for much heavier loads to be carried over rough terrain. Finished in current-issue OCP, it is built to meet the rigorous demands of US Army infantry operations.
