USGI Advanced Integrated Knee Pads (AIKP) – US Army Issue

Description

This listing is for a brand-new pair of Genuine USGI Advanced Integrated Knee Pads (AIKP). These are the specialized, low-profile inserts designed specifically for the Army Combat Uniform (ACU) and Army Custom (Combat) Pants that feature integrated knee pad pockets. Unlike traditional external knee pads that slip, pinch, or trap heat, the AIKP system provides high-impact protection from within the garment, ensuring they stay perfectly positioned regardless of your movement.

Key Features & Design Elements

• Integrated Stealth: These pads slide directly into the articulated knee pockets of the combat pant, eliminating the need for uncomfortable elastic straps that cut off circulation.
• Dual-Density Protection: Features a rugged outer cap to deflect sharp rocks and debris, backed by a shock-absorbing foam layer that cushions the joint during kneeling or rapid drops to the prone position.
• Ergonomic Flex: The pads are pre-curved and segmented to mirror the natural bend of the knee, providing a "forgot-they-were-there" feel during long rucks or high-intensity activity.
• Breathable Geometry: The foam is perforated and channeled to allow heat and moisture to escape from the knee area, significantly reducing the "swamp knee" effect common with external pads.
• Silent Movement: Because they are contained within the fabric of the pants, there is no "plastic-on-plastic" clicking sound when crawling or moving through brush.
