Therm-a-Rest RidgeRest Green\Grey Foam Sleeping Pad

Description

Ensure reliable ground insulation and sleeping comfort with the genuine Therm-a-Rest RidgeRest Classic Closed-Cell Foam Sleeping Pad. Trusted by generations of military personnel, backpackers, and mountaineers, this virtually indestructible roll-up ground pad utilizes a molded peak-and-valley foam design. The raised ridges provide supportive cushioning while the recessed valleys trap radiant body heat, achieving an ASTM R-value of 2.6 for reliable 3-season thermal protection. Constructed from cross-linked polyethylene, it is completely waterproof and puncture-proof, serving as an unyielding primary sleeping pad or a protective under-layer beneath inflatable air mattresses in extreme sub-zero conditions.

Key Features & Design Elements

  • Virtually Indestructible Closed-Cell Foam: High-density cross-linked polyethylene construction will not leak, pop, or absorb moisture even if torn or punctured.
  • Heat-Trapping Ridge Design: Alternating peak-and-valley matrix traps warm air in soft valleys while raised peaks support pressure points.
  • ASTM 2.6 R-Value Insulation: Provides essential ground insulation for spring, summer, and autumn field use, or acts as a thermal barrier on snow and ice.
  • Ultralight Field Deployment: Rolls up quickly for secure exterior strapping to tactical packs, rucksacks, or military MOLLE gear without adding excessive bulk (weighs approx. 14 oz).
  • Waterproof & Chemical Resistant: Closed-cell material repels groundwater, mud, oil, and harsh outdoor elements for effortless cleaning.
  • Made in USA: Precision-manufactured in the USA to meet rigorous commercial and military outdoor standards.
