This is the genuine U.S. Government Issue (USGI) Intermediate Cold Weather (ICW) Sleeping Bag, a core component of the Improved Modular Sleep System (IMSS), which replaced the original Modular Sleep System (MSS). Distinct from the black Intermediate Bag of the older system, this one is made in the Urban Gray (also referred to as Foliage or Gray) color and is engineered to provide reliable warmth in genuinely cold conditions. Designed to be used on its own or layered inside the lighter Patrol Bag for extreme cold, this durable, military-spec bag is an essential piece of field, camping, or survival gear.
